Ticket Tracker

The Ticket Tracker is a weekly report of Ticket to Work activity.   It shows activity for each of the 50 states, and includes 9 U.S. Commonwealths and U.S. territories.

The report distinguishes activity of Employment Networks (EN) from that of Vocational Rehabilitative Agencies (VR).   It further differentiates according to the payment method chosen by either the EN or the VR.   The two methods are milestone/outcome (M/O) or Outcome (O).  (For more information on payment methods see https://yourtickettowork.com/web/ttw/en-payments)

The count of Beneficiaries is reported for three groups, each being a subset of the group above it:

  1. Gross: A national figure not broken out by states.
  2. Net: (ticket) Eligible Beneficiaries reported for each state. The Net national total is a subset of Gross.
  3. Target Group:  Reported for each state, this is an estimate of those work-focused beneficiaries within the Eligible Beneficiaries (Net) group, who are most likely to assign a Ticket and to return to work.

Informational data items for each state show EN coverage and EN office locations.  EN coverage reflects the number of unique EN’s actively operating (at least one ticket assigned) in a given state.  Since there may be EN’s in the state without a ticket assigned, this number may be less than the actual number of EN’s in the state.  “Office locations” is a count of total EN offices (not EN’s) in the state.  Since an EN may have more than one office in a given state, this number will ordinarily be greater than the number of EN’s.

Key indicators by state include tickets assigned, tickets in use, and the percentage of target group tickets in use or assigned.  The first two are captured counts.   The percentage calculation, while mathematically substantiated, is an estimate because the target group size is an estimate.

State represents the 50 United States, and nine (9) U.S. Commonwealths and U.S. Territories including Micronesia (FM), Marshall Islands (MH), Northern Mariana Islands (MP), and Palau (PW).

Eligible Beneficiaries (Net) represent the current number of Ticket eligible beneficiaries. Net means terminated Tickets (most commonly due to death or retirement age) are excluded from this count. Ticket counts reflect Ticket-holding beneficiary’s State of residence at the time the weekly report is created.

EN Coverage represents the total number of local, regional, and national ENs that have a Ticket assigned in that state, by beneficiary residence. If an EN has Tickets assigned in three different states, that EN is counted three times, once in each of the three states.

EN Office Locations is the total number physical EN office locations by state.

Target Group - Work Focused Beneficiaries This is an estimate of those work-focused beneficiaries within the Eligible Beneficiaries group, who are most likely to assign a Ticket and to return to work. The estimate of beneficiaries is based on a mathematical algorithm and research findings.

Percent of Target Group In-Use or Assigned This is the percent of the Target Group that has currently assigned their Ticket or their Ticket is In Use with a SVR agency.

Total Tickets – In-Use SVR & Assigned is the net number of “In-Use SVR” Tickets plus Tickets assigned by beneficiary State of residence. Net means that unassigned and terminated assignments are excluded. Both EN and VR Ticket assignments are included in this total.

Tickets Assigned to ENs is the net number of Tickets assigned to ENs by beneficiary State of residence.

Tickets Assigned to ENs – M/O represents the net number of Tickets assigned to ENs by beneficiary State of residence for which the Milestone/Outcome payment method was selected by the EN.

Tickets Assigned to ENs – O represents the net number of Tickets assigned to ENs by beneficiary State of residence for which the Outcome payment method was selected by the EN.

Tickets In-Use SVR represents the net number of Tickets by beneficiary State of residence for which the Ticket is considered “in use” with the State VR agency, but not “assigned” to the VR.

Tickets Assigned to VRs is the net number of Tickets assigned to VRs by beneficiary State of residence.

Tickets Assigned to VRs – M/O represents the net number of Tickets assigned to VRs by beneficiary State of residence for which the Milestone/Outcome payment method was selected by the VR.

Tickets Assigned to VRs – O represents the net number of Tickets assigned to VRs by beneficiary State of residence for which the Outcome payment method was selected by the VR.
