Every year we send Social
Security Statements automatically to workers age 25 or older
who are not yet getting Social Security benefits on their own records.
(We also don't send Statements to people age 62 or older who are getting
benefits on someone else's record.) Your Statement will arrive
about 3 months before your birthday.
In your Statement, you will see
a year-by-year display of earnings that have been reported to your Social
Security record. If you find any errors in your reported earnings, please
contact us right away so you can help us correct the record.
Your Statement also shows estimates
of the Social Security benefits you and your family may be eligible for
now and in the future.
