UPCOMING EVENTS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Representatives from the Social Security Administration will be at all Upcoming Events to
provide information and answer questions about Social Security Administration programs.

 

Social Security Presentations

 

Simplifying Social Security

A representative from Social Security will provide information about the Social Security Retirement program. The presentation will include details about deciding when to begin collecting Social Security retirement benefits, how your benefit is calculated, spouse/dependent benefits, rules for working while receiving Social Security retirement benefits and Medicare enrollment. After the 45 minute seminar there will be an opportunity to speak with representatives from the local Social Security offices.

Registration is requested. Please email corrie.drosnock@ssa.gov or call 877-405-6748 x11828. Room information and directions will provided upon registering for the event.

Work Incentive Seminar Event (WISE)
The Ticket to Work Program provides choices for people with disabilities receiving Social Security who want help returning to work. You can learn about the Ticket to Work Program or other Work Incentives at a FREE Work Incentive Seminar Event (WISE), held at a local organization in your community, or online. You can register for a local or online WISE by going to The Work Site on the Social Security Online website.
