Open Market Oral Purchase Order Clauses and Provisions

(For oral purchases between the Micro-purchase Threshold and the Simplified Acquisition Threshold

Links to clauses and representations and certifications (reps and certs) that apply to commercial item and non-commercial item open market oral purchases appear below.  SSA contract specialists will identify which set of clauses and reps and certs below apply when requesting oral quotes from vendors. Vendors will be instructed to download, complete, and return the applicable reps and certs as part of their quotes. Vendors are encouraged to review the clauses, which will apply to the oral purchase order. Vendors can view the full texts of the clauses included in Clause Groups One and Two at  http://www.acquisition.gov/far/index.html.   These documents are provided in Adobe PDF format.

Security Information

SSA Security Awareness Contractor Personnel Security Certification
This is the certification referenced in the Agency Specific clause Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and Agency Privacy Management. Please refer to the language in the clause for information regarding the completion and retention of this document.

If your contract includes the Agency’s Security Requirements clause, you may be required to complete certain forms in order to initiate a background investigation.  These forms must be completed accurately; inaccurate and/or incomplete forms can lead to contract delays.  This document contains examples of the following accurately completed forms:

o       Standard Form (SF) - 85, Questionnaire for Non-Sensitive Positions
