Flow of Cases Through The Disability Process - FY 2003

  Fiscal Year (FY) 2003 Data  
  In FY 2003, most allowances were made at the initial level (37 out of 53 that are allowed overall for every 100 cases). Only about 4 cases out of 100 go beyond the administrative hearings level, and less than 1 per 100 are pursued in Federal court.
