Section 504 Self-Evaluation Public Forums

The Social Security Administration will publish a Notice of Hearing in the Federal Register in July 2011 seeking public comment regarding the following topics: Policy, Facilities, Information Technology (IT), and Communications.

Registration

Attendees who wish to speak at a hearing must register. We strongly encourage all attendees, including observers, to register online prior to the hearing. Click here to register. On-Site Registration

On-site registration will be available for observers only, based on availability of seating. Registration will open one hour before the hearing is scheduled to begin and will operate throughout the day.

Webcast

The agency will record and stream each public forum live on the Internet. Therefore, each individual who attends the public forum consents to being recorded and understands that the recording will be streamed live on the internet during the event and available thereafter for public viewing. Public Parking
Limited pay parking near the upper level lobby entrance of the building is available on a first-come, first-served basis; to reach the upper level parking and lobby entrance, follow the service roadway that runs between the five office buildings (please see the service area map.)
Additional pay parking is available off the Leesburg Pike side of Skyline Towers in front of the Target store. From there you can enter the Tower Building through the lower ("G2") garage entrance. Watch for the green Forum signs at the entrance and elevators.
When you are ready to return to the garage, take the garage elevator back to Level Two.

Accessible Parking
A limited number of parking spaces for handicap permit holders are available on a first-come, first-served basis, in the upper level lot. The spaces are near the Tower One building and are marked.

Security

Photo ID
Please bring a photo ID with you to the forum. Security staff will check IDs each time you enter the Skyline Tower Building.

Personal Items
Security staff will check all bags.

If you cannot handle your business through our automated services, you can speak to a Social Security representative between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
