Subject: Index of Temporary Instructions

Background

This transmittal updates the Index of Temporary Instructions (TIs) in Volume I, Division 5. We have added TI 5-2-1 (Processing Supplemental Security Income Claims Involving Aliens) issued on April 11, 2000. In addition, with publication of final mental impairment regulations on August 21, 2000 (65 FR 50746), which remove the requirement for completion of the Psychiatric Review Technique Form (PRTF) at the OHA level, we are obsoleting TI 5-3-6 and TI 5-3-8.
