Background

Consistent with Agency policy, the Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA) will provide an interpreter for a non-English speaking witness at a hearing when the ALJ determines that the witness's testimony is needed.

Explanation of Content and Changes

I-2-170, I-2-610 and I-2-610 C. have been changed to provide for obtaining an interpreter for a non-English speaking witness.
